Dog friendly holidays
Dogs with well behaved owners are always welcome at Trevadlock.
They will find a secure fenced orchard to run around in off the lead, which is easily accessed from the cottages. From here dogs can be taken through the fields down to the river and beyond.
When we are lambing and there is stock in the field we would ask that you keep dogs on a lead and respect the countryside code. There is easy access from Trevadlock onto Bodmin Moor with a myriad of interesting walks.
Cornwall offers good coastal footpath walks with access to beaches. Some will have restrictions for part of the year (please see Cornish Coast website). Some pubs allow dogs in, but again please check first.
We would ask that dogs are not left unattended in the cottages whilst you are out.
Over the last few years we have enjoyed meeting many different breeds of dog from Heinz 57 to Pedigree Pups. We have welcomed, Yorkshire Terriers and an English Mastiff, Labradoodles and Collies.
One of our visitors entered the village Dog Show and returned with Three Rosettes! We even had a dog turn up with a Tortoise!
